primetype library heißt das Label des Berliner Schriftentwerfers Ole Schäfer. Bekannt wurde er mit seinen FontFont-Großfamilien FF Fago und FF Zine, sowie der mit Erik Spiekermann entworfenen FF Info. Die Bibliothek bietet vor allem für Corporate- und Editorial-Designer neue, unverbrauchte Schriften von höchster Qualität. Sie enthält zum Teil ganz außergewöhnliche Fonts von Ole Schäfer selbst, Verena Gerlach, Ralph Oliver du Carrois, Andrea TinnesAndrea Tinnes, der berühmten ostdeutschen Typo-Legende Karl-Heinz Lange (zum Beispiel mit der schönen Trilogie Superla, Publicala und Minimala) sowie Viktor Nübel.

Alle Schriften der primetype library können Sie, wie bei FontShop gewohnt, gleich downloaden. Falls dies für Sie jedoch ein Problem sein sollte – zur »physischen« Lieferung auf CD gibt’s die Schriften selbstverständlich auch.
